Great success for PLAS MEC at ColombiaPlast 2026: consolidation and new perspectives in the Latin American market!
The 13th edition of ColombiaPlast 2026 (held from September 28th to October 2nd) concluded just a few days ago at the Corferias exhibition center in Bogotá. This event is the benchmark appointment for plastics, rubber, and packaging industry across the entire Andean Region, Central America, and the Caribbean.
We at PLAS MEC took part in this important event as exhibitor within the booth of our long-standing representative, MAQTEC. The event generated significant interest and achieved outstanding success with the public, resulting in over 190 total business contacts registered at the exhibition space shared with the other represented brands.

The numbers of a record-breaking edition
Our excellent performance took place within the context of a rapidly growing trade fair, which confirmed Colombia’s central role as a strategic hub for the sector. The exhibition center, managed in synergy by Acoplásticos, Corferias, and Messe Düsseldorf North America, recorded extraordinary numbers for 2026:
• Over 50,000 trade visitors and buyers who attended during the five days event.
• More than 310 total exhibitors (including 186 international ones), demonstrating the strong global attractiveness of the market.
• A central focus dedicated to the circular economy, sustainability, and industrial process automation.
